Customer Service
The “Copy/Remake”, “Hot”, “Hold” and “Special” job buttons have been removed. The functionality for these buttons was retained and is now accessible in the popup menu. The “Copy” job function has been added to the completed orders, previously, pressing the old “Copy” button would only allow to user to remake the job not just make a copy of it.
Order Entry
When filtering lens availability, a change has been made to check for alias entries for the lens style, and then populate the material drop-down list.
Day-End
Added a new feature to the day-end logic that will remove temporary files from the XML folder when they are older than the date calculated from the new “System Settings” variable used for determining the number of days to keep the temporary files.
Daily event time stamps
The Daily event time stamps maintenance screen has been enhanced . The “F1” button has been activated and will give the user the ability to purge records from the file by date. The button will only be available if the user has the proper security clearance.
Devices
If the rules for cribbing were set up in such a way that the calculated CRIB could be > 100mm for a lens, the value would be truncated to 2 digits, thus failing the check to ensure we do not send a crib larger than the blank diameter. This has been corrected.
Digital Interfaces
Three new vendors have been added to the Digital Surface Types screen - Rx-Me, Rx-PRO, and Opto+. Please contact your support rep if more information is required for these interfaces.
Added the ability to do a feasibility check for the Essilor digital type.
Remote Orders
Added the ability to size the _SHAPE Remote Order Entry label by both the HBOX (A measurement) and VBOX (B measurement) when they are received by the remote processor.
System Settings
A new field has been added to the “General” tab, “Number of days to keep temp files”. This field is used when purging temporary files from the “XML” folder.
Update Management
The “View documentation” option has been removed, as all documentation for each update is on Confluence.
