Varilux X designs are processed similarly to Varilux S designs, but with a couple of extra features.

A new parameter, Near Vision Behaviour (VC label is CLNVB) is used for Varilux X designs.  This optional personalization parameter should be activated for each Varilux X design, on the Optional tab of the lens style:

This makes the CLNVB field accessible on the Optional tab from within an order (on the F12 surfacing options screen):

Note that the value for Near Vision Behaviour must pass checksum validation checks (per Essilor requirements).

When using Varilux X, the CLNVB parameter must be added to the information sent to Essilor; this is done in the Digital Surface Types entry for Essilor, by editing the LDI file:

When sending an order to Rx-Universe electronically, the Near Vision Behaviour can be sent using the label CLNVB; for example:

CLNVB=1111111

When sending CLNVB, it is not chiral (there is only one value for each job, not per eye).
