Introduction
This document provides instructions for using WinSCP for your monthly manufacturer reports.
Procedure
- Run your reports in Optifacts.
- Open and log on to WinSCP with your Optifacts the following user name and password.
- Username - reports
- Password - reports
- Go to the following directory: /u/optifacts/share/mfr_reports (Once set in WinSCP, it will automatically open in that directory next time.)
- Refresh the screen by clicking the green arrows (as shown in the diagram below)
You should now see the report in the right-side window.
- Click on the file and drag it over to your local folder on the left side of the screen.
You will now see it in your local folder on the left side of the screen.
- Immediately Right Click on the file name in your local folder on the left side of the screen, and then click on Rename. You can add the date so that it doesn’t get overridden by the same file next month. (For example, "TransDat12-2019.csv).
After renaming the file, it is ready to email to Essilor.
- Drag and Drop the file into your email and send it to Essilor.
