Introduction
This document provides instructions for assigning a bin location to an inventory frame.
Procedure
From the Optifacts main menu:
Type 12 – Frame-Parts Inventory and press enter.
Type 1 – Editor Utilities and press enter.
Type 5 – Frame Description Editor and press enter.
- Type Q – to Query the applicable frame.
- Enter the search criteria and press Escape to retrieve the frame data.
- Once the frame is displayed on screen, press D for Detail.
- Press U for Update.
The active cursor is now at the Bin Location field.
- Type the bin location and press enter.
- Type the stock status and press enter. (N - Non-stock frame, Y - stocked frame, D - Discontinued)
- Type M to manage by manually or C to use Computed Usage counts (min/max) and press enter.
- Min Stock Count – If using computed usage enter the minimum quantity.
- Max Stock Count – If using computed usage enter the maximum quantity.
- Press Escape to save the data.
- Press M to return to the Frame Description table or E to Exit.
