Introduction

This document provides instructions to set up a routing rule that will stop a job from automatically routing. 

Procedure

Step 1 - Setup Do not Route Lite-up

From the Optifacts main menu:

Type 3 - Editor Utilities and press enter.

Type 4 - Pricing Database Editor and press enter.

Type 4 - Lite-up Options and press enter.

Type 1 - Add/Edit Lite-up Options and press enter.

The Add/Edit Lite-up Options screen displays.

  • Type an * (asterisk) in the Valid for Glass, Plastic, Both field and press enter.
  • Type the Lite-up number and press enter. (This is the lite-up number that you see on the pricing options screen in order entry.)

The rest of the screen will be displayed.

  • Enter all the data as shown in the following diagram, pressing enter past each field.

  • Are the entries correct (Y/N)?
    • Type Y to confirm
    • Type N to return to the form.
  • Press Escape to exit.

Routing Rule

Step 1 - Route Destination Editor

From the Optifacts main menu:

Type 3 - Editor Utilities and press enter.

Type 11 - Job Routing Menu and press enter.

Type 11 - Route Destination Editor and press enter.

The Job Routing Destination Control Manager screen displays.

  • Create a new Routing Destination as shown in the following diagram.


  • Press Escape to save the data.
  • Type E to exit.

Step 2 - Route Conditions Control Editor

  • Type 9 - Route Conditions Control Editor and press enter.

The Job Routing Condition Control Manager displays.


  • Press Escape to save the data.
  • Type E to exit.

Step 3 - Route Reason and Control Editor

  • Type 8 - Route Reason and Control Editor and press enter.

The Job Routing Reason and Control Manager displays.


  • Type A to add a new record.
  • Enter all the data as shown in the following diagram, using your own priority number as decided by your lab.
    • Priority -  Number must be a higher number than the other rules you have where you do not want the job to hit those rules first.
    • Condition ID - Must be the same as setup in menu 3-11-9 Job Routing Condition Control Manager.
    • Comments - A description of what the rule represents.

  • Press Escape to save the data.
  • Type E to exit.
