The Late Jobs List dashboard component target enables real-time monitoring of active orders that have passed their specified wanted dates (Order > Date Wanted field). It offers insights to lab managers by visually categorizing orders according to the number of days they are overdue, providing a clear overview of the extent of the delay.

To use Late Job List as a dashboard component target, follow these steps.

  1. Create a dashboard component.

  2. Select Late Job List as the Target. TheDisplay Type will be set to Table.

  3. On the Column to Display field, add the columns you want to show on the table. You can leave this field blank if you want all the columns to show.

  1. Submit the form to save the component.

Tip

A message will display upon submission to indicate if the record was saved successfully.

In the Data section, the Run Now button will be displayed. This will allow you to run and preview the data that will be returned by the component real-time.

Additional Information

  • The row background color will change depending on the number of days late.

    • If jobs are late <= 9 days: No Color

    • If jobs are late 10 - 14 days: Yellow

    • If jobs are late: =>15: Red

  • A job is considered late if it hasn’t gone through the completion process one day after their Date Wanted

    • Completed and deleted jobs should not show on the table (including jobs that are pending completion)

    • Unvalid and On Hold jobs that are late should show on the table
