Introduction
This document provides instructions for setting up the required custom configuration and the Custom Lite-Ups menu.
YouIn addition, you can build pricing options categories in the Custom Menu for use within order entry. This feature prompts the operator to scale down
thoughthrough lite-up categories in the Order Entry Pricing Options screen.
Procedure
Setup the Custom Configuration
From the Optifacts main menu:
Type Select Option 3 - Editor Utilities and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 6 - Configuration Editor and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 6 – Edit Custom Configuration and press enterEnter.
The Custom Configuration Editor displays.
- Press Q to “Q” (Query) to search if the table you are looking for exists.
If the table does not exist:
- Type A Press “A” to add a new record.
- Enter all the data as shown in the diagram below.
- Press Escape to save the data.
- Type E Press “E” to exit the screen.
Setup the Custom Lite-up Menu
From the Optifacts main menu:
Type Select Option 3 - Editor Utilities and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 4 - Pricing Database Editor and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 4 - Lite-up Options and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 3 - Custom Lite-up Menu Editor and press enterEnter.
The Lite-up Menu Editor Displays.
- Press "A" to add a new record.
Lite-Up Option Fields
:Menu Level : A prompt – This is a prompt to specify the menu level where the Option Description is to displaydisplayed.
- Type Enter the menu level number and press enter.Type
- Enter the menu level group name and press enter.
Example: Menu level number 1 would be the first description (s) / or category (s) to display on the screen. When selected, the next level description (s) would display.
LevelOPTION DESCRIPTION: This is Option Description - This is the Name or Category title that will display on the screen.
- Type Enter the description and press enter.
- The cursor will move moves to the Option Number field.
OPTION NUMBER: Option Number - This number indicates the order in which you want the Description to appear in the list.
- Type Select the Option Number and press enterEnter.
Example: The Option Description Name Coatings is number 3 in the Main Menu listing.

The cursor will move

- The cursor moves to the Menu Group Name field.
MENU GROUP NAME: Menu Group Name - This will be the menu header name.
- Type Enter the Group Name and press enter.
Example: The Group Name (header) is Coatings.

- The Cursor will move to the Option Display Row field.
OPTION DISPLAY ROWOption Display Row: This will indicate in which row the Option Description will appear.
- Type Enter the number and press enter.
OPTION DISPLAY COLUMNOption Display Column: This will indicate in which column the Option Description will appear.
- Type Y Press “Y” (yes) to disable or N “N” (no) to enable and press enterEnter.
LITELite-UP up (NUMnum):NOT NOT the number viewed on the Layout screen.
- Enter the first number on the pricing options available report for the pricing option and press enter.
LITELite-UP up (BITbit): NOT the number viewed on the Layout screen.
- Enter the second number on the pricing options available report for the pricing option and press enter.
- Press Escape to save the data.

Order Entry
From the Optifacts main menu:
Type Select Option 4 - Run Layout and press enterEnter.
- Continue the layout Order Entry process until the Custom Lite-ups screen displays.
The option numbers appear on the left side of the screen
- Type Enter the applicable option number and press enter.

ups to be selected:up numbers available for selection.
- Use the à → right arrow key to move the cursor to the Option field on the right side of the screen.
- Type Enter the applicable lite-up number and press enter.
