Introduction

This document provides instructions for .....assigning a bin location to an inventory frame.

Procedure

From the Optifacts main menu:             

Type Select Option 12 – Frame-Parts Inventory and press enterEnter.

Type Select Option 1 – Editor Utilities and press enterEnter.

Type Select Option 5 – Frame Description Editor and press enterEnter.

  • Type Press "Q" – to Query the applicable a frame.
  • Enter the search criteria and press Escape to retrieve the frame data.
  • Once the frame is displayed displays on the screen, press "D" for Detail.
  • Press "U for " to Update a frame.

The active cursor is now at in the Bin Location field.

  • Type Enter the bin location and press enter.Type

Stock Status

  • Enter the stock status and press enter. (
  • N - Non-stock frame,
  • Y - stocked frame,
  • D - Discontinued)Type M to manage by manually or C to use – Discontinued

Min/Max

  • Enter the Min/Max
  • M - Manage manually
  • C - Computed Usage counts (min/max) and press enter.

Min Stock Count

  • Enter the Min Stock Count – If using computed usage enter the minimum quantity.

Max Stock Count

  • Enter Max Stock Count – If using computed usage enter the maximum quantity.


  • Press Escape to save the data.
  • Press "M" to return to the Frame Description table or "E" to Exit.
