Field Name | Definition |
---|---|
Blocking | For default blocking: M=MRP, C=On Cneter, S=System configuration entry Choices are (M) “M” for MRP (OC blocking), (C) “C” for On-Center (Geometric) blocking, and (S) “S” for the use of the setting in Lab Material Configuration table. Setting this field to (S) “S” keeps the lens on the default setting from the Lab Material Configuration (Center Blk field). If the lab does NOT want to block on the geometric center, then set the appropriate progressives to (M)“M.” |
Prism Thin | Enter A to Always, N to Never, S to let System decide prism thinning Choices are (A) “A” for always prism thin regardless of Account Material Configuration settings, (N) “N” to never prism thin this lens type, and (S) “S” to use the parameters set in the Account Material Configuration table. A We recommend a review of potential progressives that are NEVER prism thinned is appropriate with the lab manager. An example of a lens that generally is not prism thinned is the AO Omni Progressive – which has built-in prism thinning. |
