Introduction

This document provides instructions for setting up the Stock Shipping Label custom configuration.

Configure this entry to print a shipping label each time that a stock invoice is shipped. This will allow you to print a label including the courier and bin number for the package. The printer routing uses the same as that for the program INV. 

Uses the float and integer settings.

Procedure

From the Optifacts main menu:

Type 3 – Editor Utilities and press enter.

Type 6 – Configuration Editor and press enter.

Type 6 – Edit Custom Configuration and press enter.

The Custom Configuration Editor displays.

  • Press Q to Query.
  • Ensure that the table below exists.

If the table does not exist.

Uses the
  • Type A to add a new record.
  • Enter all the information as per shown in the example below.
    • Press Escape to save the data.
    • Type E to exit.

    Configure this entry to print a shipping label each time that a stock invoice is shipped. This will allow you to print a label including the courier and bin number for the package. The printer routing uses the same as that for the program INV. 

      • Enter the float and integer settings. The float setting indicates how many lines down the program feeds before printing the first line. The integer setting indicates how many spaces in before it begins printing on each line. This allows you to configure your own shipping label. The 74 and 16 work well to print in the same location of the tear-off label on a standard Optifacts 11 inch invoice form.
    • Press Escape to save the data.
    • Type E to exit.
