Some client may require VPN (Virtual Private Network) Tunnel to meet their current security compliancecompliances, if so they will need to consult with their current IT provider for the best VPN solutions.

If VPN is not necessary we can get a remote thin client configured to access via Internet Protocol using specific port communication. (Note: This will also still require the end client to consult with their current IT provider to setup this.)

The information given below is only intended for guidance on how to install this.

  1. A Public Static IP Address or alternatively a Dynamic DNS Service that automatically updates to the Public IP (ie:WWW.DYNDNS.ORG)
  2. A Static IP Address on the RX-Universe Server
  3. Configure the Firewall/Router to forward port allow inbound and outboubd traffic along with port forwarding port# 5640 to the IP of the RX-Universe Server
  4. Also open Incoming out outgoing & Outgoing traffic on Firewall or the RX-Universe Server

In the example below we are assuming that the Public IP provided by the ISP is "142.166.201.203" and that the RX-Universe Server is setup on a static IP of "192.168.1.50"
