Permissions

Rx-Suite provides you with an exceptional level of control over user permissions. With our platform, you can easily grant users full or read-only access to specific features within the Workstations module. Moreover, we offer the flexibility to create custom roles with pre-defined permissions, allowing you to assign appropriate access rights to different users efficiently.

The relevant permissions for Order Delete functionality can be set up in Rx-Hub → Roles → (Specific Role) → Rx-Workstations.

  • In Rx-Hub, edit the role of the user you want to grant access to.

  • Grant the role “Use” permission for Workstation Scanner in the Rx-Xplore permissions tab. Make sure you click on the “Update Role” button to save the settings. Learn more about setting up roles.

Scanning Mode

Multi-station versus Single Station Scanning

There are two scanning modes available in Rx-Workstation - multi-station or single-station scanning - designed to cater to different preferences/circumstances of your lab operation.

  • Multi-Station is an option always available that allows you to scan a station number (must be a valid station in RxUniverse) and then proceed to scan jobs into this station. This allows you more flexibility and the ability to change stations with a simple scan.

  • Normal Station locks you into the selected station and will only let you scan jobs into that specified station.
