Introduction
This document provides instructions for setting up the Exchange Price List custom configuration.
In a traditional Optifacts installation with multiple currencies, the price lists are assumed to be in the customer’s currency
and then. Then an exchange rate is used to store in the lab’s currency for reporting.
ForHowever, it may be more helpful for labs with continually changing exchange rates
, it may be more helpfulto have the price lists entered in a stable currency and then use an exchange rate when billing the customer. To enable this ability, enter all price lists in the stable currency and enable the custom configuration shown below.
Procedure
From the Optifacts main menu:
Type Select Option 3 – Editor Utilities and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 6 – Configuration Editor and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 6 – Edit Custom Configuration and press enterEnter.
The Custom Configuration Editor displays.
- Press Q “Q” to Query.
Ensure that the table below exists. If the table does not exist:
- Type A Press “A” to add a new record.
- Enter all the information as per the example (s) below.
- Press Escape to save the data
- Type E to Exit.
- Press “E” to Exit.
