Introduction
This document provides instructions for assigning a bin location to an inventory frame.
Procedure
From the Optifacts main menu:
Select Option 12 – Frame-Parts Inventory and press Enter.
Select Option 1 – Editor Utilities and press Enter.
Select Option 5 – Frame Description Editor and press Enter.
- Press ‘Q’ "Q" – to Query a frame.
- Enter the search criteria and press Escape to retrieve the frame data.
- Once the frame displays on the screen, press ‘D’ "D" for Detail.
- Press ‘U’ "U" to Update a frame.
The active cursor is now in the Bin Location field.
Bin Location
- Enter the bin location.
Stock Status
- Enter the stock status.
- N - Non-stock frame
- Y - stocked frame
- D – Discontinued
Min/Max
- Enter the Min/Max
- M - Manage manually
- C - Computed Usage counts (min/max)
Min Stock Count
- Enter the Min Stock Count – If using computed usage enter the minimum quantity.
Max Stock Count
- Enter Max Stock Count – If using computed usage enter the maximum quantity.
- Press Escape to save the data.
- Press ‘M’ "M" to return to the Frame Description table or ‘E’ "E" to Exit.
