Introduction
This document provides instructions for assigning a bin location to an inventory frame.
Procedure
From the Optifacts main menu:
Type Select Option 12 – Frame-Parts Inventory and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 1 – Editor Utilities and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 5 – Frame Description Editor and press enterEnter.
- Type Q Press ‘Q’ – to Query the applicable a frame.
- Enter the search criteria and press Escape to retrieve the frame data.
- Once the frame is displayed displays on the screen, press D ‘D’ for Detail.
- Press U for ‘U’ to Update a frame.
The active cursor is now at in the Bin Location field.
Bin Location
- Enter the bin location and press enter.
Stock Status
- Type Enter the stock status and press enter. (
- N - Non-stock frame,
- Y - stocked frame,
- D - Discontinued)Type M to manage by manually or C to use – Discontinued
Min/Max
- Enter the Min/Max
- M - Manage manually
- C - Computed Usage counts (min/max) and press enter.
Min Stock Count
- Enter the Min Stock Count – If using computed usage enter the minimum quantity.
Max Stock Count
- Enter Max Stock Count – If using computed usage enter the maximum quantity.
- Press Escape to save the data.
- Press M ‘M’ to return to the Frame Description table or E ‘E’ to Exit.
