Accounts Receivable

Implemented credit rating and credit checks similar to how they were implemented in OMICS.
The credit rating and credit limit fields are now accessible on the Customer screen in A/R.  For each customer, a checkbox is present indicating whether to include the value of unshipped orders (orders in process) in the calculation of the customer's balance.
When entering a manual order or processing a remote order, the following checks are done:

  • if credit rating is "B" (Use Limit), and the customer balance exceeds the credit limit, a warning is displayed during manual OE.  No effect on electronic orders.
  • if credit rating is "C" (COD only), a warning message is displayed during manual OE.  No effect on electronic orders.
  • if credit rating is "D" (no order shipping when over limit), a warning message is displayed during manual shipping if the customer balance exceeds credit limit
  • if credit rating is "E" (no new orders when over limit), if the customer balance exceeds the credit limit, an error is displayed during manual OE, and an electronic order will be saved unvalid

A problem where statements did not print all unpaid invoices has been corrected.

Digital and Device Interfaces

When Single Vision designs that require a fitting height were sent from Vision Web, if the job had been entered with both a distance and a near PD, and the fitting height NOT entered in VisionWeb, Rx-Universe would erroneously take the NPD as the fitting height.  This has been corrected.

For lenticular lenses manufactured on a Schneider generator, if the device identifies itself with a vendor code = "SOM", then the carrier curve is sent in FRNT.  Normal behaviour is to send the true curve in FRNT and the carrier curve in IFRNT, but Schneider does not use IFRNT.

When Hoya IDPK products with different treatments/colours were turned on in the lens catalogue, some jobs would not pick the correct puck, due to blank selection stopping prematurely when the colour or treatment changed.

Order Entry

When specifying a specific flat top blank in a remote file, using OPC, for an uncut job without frame measurements, the default decentration was not calculated.

Added the ability to enter an order note for an order that is already completed.

A new tag, _HOTJOB, has been added to the VC interface for use on the XML ticket, to indicate a job is a hot job.

Customers

You can now enter up to 10 e-mail addresses per customer.  This is accessible on a new E-mail tab.  For each e-mail, you have the ability to select WIP Report, Order Notes, Invoices and/or Job Track Notifications.

Job Tracking

You can now automatically e-mail customers a message when an order has reached a specific job station.  Please see Automatically E-mail Customers.

Rx-Site

The Rx-Site Lens Product Selection program has been modified to speed up the time it takes to load all products.
