January 2025: Rx-Suite Version 1.25.X - Rx-Suite - Confluence
Overview
The Rx-Universe Version 7.75.00 has introduced several new features, enhancements, and fixes. These updates collectively enhance the functionality, speed, and accuracy of Rx-Universe for users, ensuring smoother workflows and fewer issues in both order processing and system integration.
New Features
Rx-Universe New Features
Routing rules - you can now include a job station as part of the routing rules. This enhancement will allow a lab to outsource an order to an outside lab with more flexibility than the old “Lab-to-Lab” transfer rules. Note - Labs that currently use the older Lab-to-Lab transfer rules will need to setup their current L2L transfer rules in the “Routing Rules” setups. The older “Lab-to-Lab” routing rules will be removed from Rx-Universe in a future version. Beginning with this version, Rx-Universe will look for a routing rule in the routing table first, and then check the Lab-To-Lab Transfer rules table. Labs are encouraged to migrate their transfer rules to the routing rules table.
The OMA device session has been optimize to use an ACK delay, if needed, by the lab. The Delay is entered in the “Device Parameters” maintenance screen.
Enhancements
Rx-Universe Enhancements
API Endpoints
V2/Orders endpoint. Added traceName, traceEdgeType, traceSupplier, traceEye and traceBridge to the GET and POST features.
V2/Orders endpoint. The GET feature has been modified to return the order comments in the same field as the “POST” feature. The field is “remarks”.
V1/POST/orders/add endpoint. Added orderRemoteUserName. This will allow the user to report on this field in Rx-Reports.
V1/GET/orders and V1/GET/orders/detail endpoints. Added orderRemoteUserName.
Production Issues
Rx-Universe Fixes
When calling the list of available devices using the API_DEVICES endpoint, the call was failing. This has been corrected.
When a semi-finished blank is blocked on GC and calculated such that the blank is thick enough at the GC but is not thick enough at the OC (or MRP), the latter condition was something not detected, resulting in a job being calculated where the blank was not actually thick enough for the job. This has been corrected.
When using the new Special Lens option, when a breakage is done on an order using these special order lenses, the allocation flag was not being reset resulting in a lens not being placed on a purchase order. This has been corrected.
Modified the Inventory Count Variance report to correct issues with the total variance and total cost variance when multiple counts are performed in a day.
Under certain circumstances, when an order was copied and then the blanks were changed, the blank data on the order was not being changed. This has been corrected.
When sending order to VisionWeb, if the transmission fails, set the Job station history to “VWE” instead of “VWB”, this will allow a lab to easier identify a failed transmission.
Modification to Eyefinity processing. When ortc is set to OTHER, change to create a translation entry for the value of orteo plus OTHER. ie. MM OTHER Also create _ADDON=”MM OTH” and an entry in the order remarks.
Satisloh E-Ticket system integration will now send the tray number instead of the order number, if available and e-ticket flat file creation is disabled.
