Overview

Rx-Inventory allows you to import frame usage from another platform to Rx-.

Permissions

The relevant permissions for importing frame data can be found in Rx-Hub → Roles → (Specific Role) → Rx-Inventory. Learn more or get a refresher on how our User Roles and Permissions work.

To be able to import frame data, the user needs at least the Create and Import of the TransactionBatch permissions. Ideally, you would also grant them the Read permissions so they can view the usage transactions that they imported.

Required Setup and Configurations

Before you start your import, review if your file has the required columns. We encourage you to review the column definitions here to avoid issues during import.

The import file should have records that are comma-delimited. Otherwise, it will fail.

Tip: Before importing your file, open it in Notepad or Note++ to check if you have extra rows with empty data. This will cause the import to fail with errors like “Invalid Date”.
