Licensing and Downloads
For labs that are licensed to run without a dongle, when Rx-Universe connected to the license server to validate the session, not all connections were being terminated after use. This could result in an excess of open connections and cause either slowdowns or access issues for some Rx-Universe customers. Connections are now all properly terminated after use.
The speed of downloading lens data, Eyefinity codes, VCA label table entries, and other information, has been greatly increased. Downloading Eyefinity lens codes, for example, which previously could take 2-3 hours, can be expected to complete in less than 10 minutes.
Orders
Tray numbers may not be optional in Rx-Universe. For details, please see Order Numbers, Tray Numbers, PO numbers and Devices
Fix an issue that was causing blank selection to list clear blanks for a pre-treatment that could not be applied to a lens. This was only occurring when the pricing module was turned off.
Inventory
When the lab-to-lab rules triggers the sending of an order to an outside lab, if the lab decides to do the job in-house and answers “N” to the transfer question, the selected blanks were not being re-instated for the order, causing issues with inventory quantities. This was also occurring when the order had breakages. This has been corrected.
Device interfaces
The VCA device interface, did not take into account that the ART auto-blocker can send both eyes in the same upload.
Digital processor
When processing the LMS response file, if either CIRC or ELLH were contained in the LMS file, and the lab is setup to use ART blocking, the BLKRD and BLKDM did not get recalculated based on the new CIRC or ELLH values.
Job Stations
When an existing job station was copied, the Counts were not being reset to zero. This has been fixed.
Payments
Changed Payments to be able to reconcile a credit and debit that balance to zero.
System Settings
The following options have been removed from System Settings in Rx-Universe as they are no longer used, and/or have been replaced by other settings:
API Endpoints
When a valid scan was returned to the lenses/pick API, it was always returning the order # and not what the scan was. This has been corrected.
RxXplore
The FrameUPC field was being truncated when sent from Rx-Universe to Rx-Xplore
Remote Order
When an order is sent to another lab using the VisionWeb transfer method, if the order has “Compensated values” in the order remarks, remove the “compensated remarks” before sending the order to the remote lab.
