API’s
A new API for frame inventory and pick flags has been added
The Lens pick API has been enhanced to allow for frame pick. Lens pick and frame pick can be done as separate operations, simply leave the fields not picked empty.
Support has been added for OAuth2 authentication and SSL.
Digital Orders
The digital type maintenance screen has been modified. The “General” tab has a new checkbox “Create the digital files using the PO number”. When checked, this causes the digital files to be created using the PO number. If you want to use this option, you should also force the entry of a PO number on the orders. This is done within the “System settings”, “Device” tab; check the two following fields, “Allow VCA interface to use PO#” and “Validate order PO# for VCA”. This will ensure that no duplicate PO numbers are used, ensuring that digital files are not used by the wrong order.
Device Interfaces
For SV lenses that have a fitting cross, label SGOCUP should be sent as negative, however not all devices expect the correct sign. A new checkbox has been added to the “Edger” tab of the device configuration, if checked, the value of SGOCUP will be reversed only for SV lenses with a fitting cross.
Remote Orders
Added the _LTLVL and _LTDIA labels to the VCA remote order processing. The label contents is verified and the order is saved as unvalid if the entries do not meet the specifications for the digital type used by the order.
Fixed issue with the _TRACE label, the first time that the remote processor uses the _TRACE to resize the trace and the _TRACE reference does not exist, this would cause a file error if another _TRACE resize was attempted by another remote order.
Breakage
When doing a breakage, very occasionally, the calc results would be over-written by another job. This has been corrected.
Order Entry
The OCHT from the datum line was handled incorrectly for single-vision lenses in the resize trace window. This has been corrected. The “finish layout” in the “devices” screen has been changed, the “Vertical Layout” field has been changed from a signed field to “Up” or “Down” labels next to the value.
User Maintenance
When copying a user profile, if the user security module is active, then also copy the user permissions along with the user record.
Reports
The inventory count variance report has been enhanced to include selections to limit the amount of data that is printed on the report.
System Settings
If you have your date format set to “MM/DD/YYYY” when you enter the system setting, it would cause an error 47 on the LANG file to occur. This has been resolved.
