Digital Interfaces
A change was made to not send CRIB/ELLH in the LDS file to Crossbows, but it actually suppressed CRIB/ELLH in all device packets for Crossbows. This has been corrected (version 6.42.01).
When OPCs are returned in an LMS file that are not active, the message on the work ticket should show the OPC of the product that is not active. It did this for the right eye but not for the left eye. This has been corrected (version 6.42.02).
For Essilor Digital, the block returned for full offering lenses was not being printed on the work ticket. This has been corrected (version 6.42.03).
For INDO Digital jobs, a modified PD may be sent back in the LMS file. This PD was not being used for the CAD2000 blocker since version 6.41.00 (version 6.42.03).
A change was made to not allow the value of the FED label to be smaller than the A (version 6.42.04).
Changed the formatting of LDADD to be the same as ADD as well as use the "Add with + and leading zero" checkbox (version 6.42.05).
Increased the incoming file size from 150,000 bytes to 500,000 bytes for a DEO file with SDF and DZY data in it (version 6.42.06).
Expanded the size of the SDF file from 1000 bytes to 5000 bytes to handle the DXZ lines (version 6.42.06).
A change was made to include TRCFMT=0 in the LDS file when calculating an uncut for Essilor (version 6.42.08).
The NWD label was changed to be chiral and the CLDEYE label was changed to be non-chiral. Changes were made according to the VCA standard (version 6.42.09).
A change was made to send MINEDG for Essilor Uncuts; this is required by VCApp in Dallas (version 6.42.09).
Essilor has moved from the _LP user-defined label for progression length to the VCA standard CORRLEN label for corridor length. CORRLEN is now supported and the "optional" tabs in the lens style setup, and the F12 order entry screen, have been updated accordingly (version 6.42.10).
Essilor has moved from the _DE user-defined label for dominant eye to the VCA standard CLDEYE label. CLDEYE is now supported as a non-chiral field and the "optional" tabs in the lens style setup, and the F12 order entry screen, have been updated accordingly (version 6.42.10).
Digital Progressive Decentration
A new flag has been added to the setup of digital progressives for IOT, Crossbows, Signet, and Profit.
If the option "Allow decentration" is selected, then when entering an uncut (with no frame measurements) for this design, entry of horizontal decentration will be allowed. This decentration will be sent to the digital calculator using the appropriate labels for the vendor (SBSGIN for Crossbows and Signet, BCERIN for IOT and Profit) (version 6.43.00).
Crossbows Packages
A new option has been added to the Crossbows Digital Type setup:
Selecting this option will present the user with the ability to select the packages for Crossbows:
Selecting one of the options will automatically create the lens styles within that package, along with the alias records, for the Crossbows digital type (version 6.43.00).
Digital SV Finish Blocking
Digital SV designs can now be set up to be finish blocked like a progressive. This is the recommended blocking method for designs such as the Individual SV, where the lens is dispensed and checked with a fitting cross, like a progressive. To set up a digital SV design in this manner, set the "SV Fit Cross Height" to a non-zero value:
This will cause the VCA interface and the Weco CAD Tektronix interfaces (only) to block the lens as if it were a progressive (version 6.43.00).
Device Interfaces
In the ART/Nucleo re-use block table, the Job ID is now available as a search key. The search field has been expanded from 4 characters to 24 characters. On the detail screen for each block, the date and time of the most recent upload from the blocker, generator, and de-blocker are shown, and the screen has been re-organized to better display the block information (version 6.42.10).
Label TFADD (add power of semi-finished blank) has been added to the VCA interface (version 6.43.00).
A new option has been added to the "Import from Web" option for VCA label tables and VCA Label Table Settings. If "Erase existing table before import" is selected, the entire contents of the selected table will be removed before downloading entries (version 6.43.00).
Calculations
The 3D model would not display in quad mode on computers where the video card did not support buffered frames. This has been corrected (version 6.43.00).
When calculating an elliptical crib, enhancements have been made to prevent the ellipse from being too close to the edge of the frame, using the Blank Size Allowance parameter in effect for the lens style. If a complex crib shape is present, this will be indicated on the work ticket (version 6.43.00).
Job Tracking
Under certain circumstances, when a work ticket was printed, the job history was not being updated (version 6.42.02).
Reversed change to job history as it was causing the job tracker to not process entries (version 6.42.07).
The "Time At Station" report has been added to the Reports menu (version 6.43.00).
A new option has been added to job stations, “Allow non-verified job”, which allows an order to be scanned even if it isn’t in-process (for example, on-hold jobs, unvalid jobs) (version 6.43.00).
A/R Coating envelopes can be automatically printed when a job is scanned to a job tracking station. To use this feature, set the job station up as a "Coating Lab" by selecting that option in the "Identifier" pull-down; select the lab the job will be sent to, and check the "Print coating envelope" checkbox, as follows:
Blocking
Support for multiple groups of surface blocks has been added. For complete details on this feature, see Alloy Blocking.
Remote Orders
If a remote (electronic) file uses _TRACE to specify a trace, and then sends FTYP and/or ETYP after _TRACE in the raw file, the trace was not being corrected correctly attached to the order. If the FTYP or ETYP was sent before the _TRACE record, the FTYP or ETYP setting (which can affect thickness) was being lost. These problems have been corrected (version 6.42.03).
Thickness Tools
A new screen has been added to permit viewing of the edge thickness of the cribbed lens and the finished lens shape in a manner similar to that found in Rx-Pert.
From the Order Entry screen, a new button:
The new screen looks similar to the following - default shape is the crib shape; the cursor can be dragged around the edge and will show the thickness at each point. The graph along the bottom shows the equivalent thickness as a linear graph around the circumference:
Within the screen, right-clicking with the mouse will switch to the edged shape:
When displaying the older 2D frame shape screen, the edge thickness at the four edge points are displayed:
The thicknesses at the four meridians, and also the thickest and thinnest points, are also printed on the work ticket:
Inventory
When downloading lenses using the web lens download, the lab can optionally choose to have the lenses automatically activated. New checkboxes have been added to the inventory tab under “System Parameters” (version 6.43.00).
