VisionWeb used to (prior to August 2018) automatically default the fitting height of a SV digital design that required fitting height, to 1/2 B measurement of the frame, if the fitting height was not entered by the dispenser. To handle this, Rx-Universe would ignore a fitting height that came from VW that was equal to 1/2B +/- 0.1mm. This made it impossible for a dispenser to actually enter a fitting height that happened to be 1/2B and have Rx-Universe recognize it. At our request, VisionWeb removed the automatic setting of fitting height, so if a dispenser does not enter a fitting height, none will be sent to Rx-Universe. Rx-Universe has been changed to not ignore a fitting height that is 1/2B +/- 0.1mm, so that that is now a valid value. If a fitting height is not entered by the dispenser on VisionWeb for one of these lens styles, it will now result in an error in Rx-Universe (as it should).
Work Ticket
The graphic on the PCL work ticket did not show correct location of the PRP relative to the fitting cross for certain digital progressive designs. All data for processing the lens was correct, the problem was limited to the graphic on the work ticket. This has been corrected.
When using the XML user-defined work ticket and printing Rx prism, the Rx prism would not be printed if finished (stock) lenses were selected for the job. This has been corrected.
Digital Interfaces
Some Crossbows digital designs have the ability to do edge blending, which uses user-defined labels (such as _LTLVL). Previously, these options could only be set for digital designs where the digital vendor was "Crossbows" or "A2Vision". This has been expanded so that the options can be specified for designs belonging to digital vendor "Essilor" as well, so that Crossbows designs can have edge blending when being calculated through DEO.
Some digital round seg designs would require a larger blank than necessary; this has been corrected.
Changes have been made to accommodate different BCERIN/BCERUP values from the same digital vendor for different devices (for example, laser engraver and mechanical engraving), while supporting the use of "special" labels such as "_BCERUP" for designs from other vendors.
Lens Pick Verification
The Lens Pick Verification entry screen has been made more user friendly.
Inventory
The ability to Import and Export Lens Catalogue records has been added.
