Customer Service

The pop-up menu item “Make Job a Remake” has been enhanced to allow un-valid orders to access this function.

...

When a quantity update file was being processed (a file with an extension of .QTY), if the file was still being created when the processor tried to access it, it would display a message on the screen indicating that, and wait for user input. This caused the processor to stop processing all files until the user acknowledged, which is an issue if the processor is running on a computer that is not normally monitored. This behaviour has been changed to skip the file and leave it intact if it is still locked, without requiring user acknowledgement.

The Opti2.8 remote order type now allows for the processing of a frame UPC when it’s received.

Reports

Changes to the Inventory Breakage Report:

  • The Inventory Breakage report was causing an “out of bounds” error when processing several months of data. This has been resolved.

  • If an order used 2 different SV lenses, the report would always print the OPCs in the OPC Right column.  This has been corrected.  The program now reads the order file to determine which eye the lens was used in.  If the order no longer exists, the OPCs will be printed in the OPC Right column.

  • If an order used Rt/Lt lenses, the report would always print both OPCs (Rt and Lt) on the report regardless if both were broken or not.  Changed to only print the OPC of the lens that was broken.

  • **NOTE - if the same SV lens is used for both the right and the left eye, the OPCs will always print in the OPC Right column as we have no way of knowing which eye was broken.

Inventory

At monthend, lens usage is moved from current month to the previous month, and all previous months are moved back a month. This was not being done correctly.

The ability to create an Ad-hoc purchase order has been added. Please see Creation of Ad-hoc Purchase Orders for more detail.

Lens Materials

The Rx-Site description was being overwritten by the regular description every time the record was modified. This has been corrected.
