Digital Interfaces

If Essilor sends ? for ENGMASK values, ignore those in the PROC file, because sending ENGMASK=?R;?L to the engraver raises an error (version 6.43.01).

The resolution of the HMF files produced by the old non-VCA Epson-Seiko program is supposed to be 1.0mm.  The resolution of the files being produced is 0.500, which causes a problem on some Orbit equipment (resolution is too fine for that file format).  This has been corrected (version 6.43.02).

When entering an order for digital lenses, for which the LDS selects the blanks, or when scanning the SV blanks first, and then selecting the digital design, if the System Parameter is set to not print digital W/T's at order entry, the "Print W/T" checkbox did not get turned off.  This has been corrected (version 6.44.00).

Devices

Support has been added for conventional (alloy) blocking, ART blocking, and Nucleo blocking, at the same time.  Previously, both alloy and one of ART or Nucleo could be selected; now alloy and either of ART or Nucleo, or both, can be selected.  The 1, 2 or 3 blocking methods will be printed on the work ticket, as applicable (version 6.43.03).  For up-to-date documentation on the ART and Nucleo blocking options, please see Select ART or Nucleo blocking method.

If Essilor sends ? for ENGMASK values, ignore those in the PROC file, because sending ENGMASK=?R;?L to the engraver raises an error (version 6.43.01).

The PO number in order entry can now be used to request jobs on VCA devices.  This allows the "primary" lookup number to be up to 20 characters in length.  For complete information on this option, please see the section Device Interface Using PO Number. (version 6.44.00).

 Databases

The VCA Label Table Settings browse window has been modified to correct a display issue for text field entries (version 6.43.01).

When browsing the lens styles and materials, the selected code was not being displayed.  This has been corrected (version 6.43.02).

Reports

The value of excess stock was not being calculated correctly for right/left items in the Stock Costing Report.  This has been corrected (version 6.43.02).
