RxUniverse Rx-Universe can allow a lab to provide sales discounts based on the volume of sales for a date range. The volume discount program allows lots of flexibility when deciding what the discount amount should be. Multiple discounts can be taken based on the type of sales if desired. The discount percentage can also be based on the $$$$ of the sales in the discount period. Before the volume discounts are applied to the accounts, the lab has the ability of reviewing the discounts and change them if desired.
The set an account up for volume discounts, from the "Apply volume discounts" flag in Main Menu:
- Select the "A/R" option.
- Then "Customer A/R".
- Find and Modify the desired account.
- In the "General" tab

Volume Discount table
The Volume discount table is accessed from the "Setup" menu. Volume discounts can be setup to apply to all volume discount accounts or can be set up for specific accounts. The volume discount table is a standard RxUniverse list / maintenance screen where you can add, modify or delete the various volume discount levels based on the users security clearance.
