Blocks will be physically divided into these groups after use, based on how small they were cribbed for the last job run.  In the example above, we have 5 groups of blocks; the first group will contain blocks that are up to 55mm in size; the second group up to 60mm in size, etc.  Generally speaking, the lab will want to select the largest possible block (to provide maximum support for the blank), that is no larger than necessary.  Rx-Universe will select blocks from the appropriate "group" based on the crib required for the job.  In the example above, for example, a job which has a crib value of 62 would select a block from the "65" group.

Selecting ART or Nucleo blocking system-side, by material, by lens style, by order

The system default for blocking method / block size can be set on the "Setup", "System Settings", "Devices" tab.  The new options are:
"U" - Nucleo blocking
"A" - ART blocking

The blocking method can also be specified for specific materials or specific lens styles.  This might be used when only a particular material(s) or style(s) are to be blocked with this method:

When Nucleo or ART blocking has been requested, whether system-wide, by material, lens style, or order, the work ticket will show the block to be used:

The "BP1" in this case indicates that "Block Piece 1" should be used (the text comes from the text field on the System Settings screen), and the 65 indicates that a block from the 65mm group should be used.
