Rx-Universe can allow a lab to provide sales discounts based on the volume of sales for a date range. The volume discount program allows lots of flexibility when deciding what the discount amount should be. Multiple discounts can be taken based on the type of sales if desired. The discount percentage can also be based on the $$$$ of the sales in the discount period. Before the volume discounts are applied to the accounts, the lab has the ability of reviewing the discounts and change them if desired.The The volume of sales used for the discount triggers can be based on the actual sales or the discountable sales for the account. This is decided on a system wide basis by checking / unchecking the "Use full sales instead of discounted sales for volume discount threshold" in the "Setup / System settings", "AR" tab.
