- From the main menu of RxUniverse, click on the Pricing tab.
- Select Price Lists.
- Click on the newly created price list on the left hand side.
- Right click the Addon Type and choose Add Addon Pricing.
- The following screen will appear:
- Change the Auto Code to TN - Lens Tinting
- Change the Addon Group to TINT.
- Select a Pricing Mode which is usually Price per Pair for this addon.
- Checkmark the field Print Auto Add if zero to ensure that the tint will appear on the invoice even if there is not cost.
- Type in 0.00 in the Base price.
- Glass lenses are available with a Grey 3 tint. These are not transition or polarized lenses. Type in a price in the glass column if applicable as shown in the example below.
Save your changes.
Tints can also be applied to the lens by the lab so a manual addon will also have to be created for any tint color used. Repeat the steps above but leave the Auto Code to Manual Addon instead of TN - Lens Tinting.
